Elder Jimmie L. Little - Senior Pastor - aol.com@ElderJLittle![]()
Born in Harrison, Georgia in 1968, Jimmie L. Little was reared in a family that instilled biblical principles and apostolic teaching from an early age. He has been involved in church all his life and an active participant in ministry for more than 25 years. He received the baptism of the Holy Ghost (with the evidence of speaking in tongues) on August 5, 1983. His early years of church involvement at the Community Church of Jesus in Bartow, Georgia included ushering and participation in choirs, Sunday School and the youth ministry. From 1991 to 1993, he served as Sunday School Superintendent for the Community Church of Jesus in Monticello, Georgia.
In 1994, Elder Little was instrumental in helping to plant the Deliverance Church of Jesus in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his call to the gospel ministry in 1996 and was ordained a minister of the gospel on June 19, 1999 by his late father, Bishop Jimmie Little. He was ordained an "Elder" on August 20, 2005 by Bishop Fairest Norman of the First Pentecostal Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Mount Vernon, New York. As a minister, Elder Little is an anointed vessel and has a passion for God's Word. He is spiritually gifted in the area of exhortation and applies the truths of the scripture to encourage and meet the needs of our generation.
Having received his mandate from God, Elder Little is building on the foundation of Christ and the legacy of his late father, and is the Founding Pastor/Senior Pastor of Living Water Apostolic Church Ministries - with locations in McDonough, Georgia (a suburb of Atlanta) and the central Georgia town of Wrightsville. His vision for Living Water is simply to proclaim the message of the Cross, to be a light in darkness and "to know God better and to make Him known".
In addition to his ministry endeavors, Elder Little is a family man and has been married to Sister Renee Little for more than 20 years. Together, they are dedicated parents to three children, Jeremie, Jessica and Jordan.
